EV Charging Infrastructure Program

To reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs) and meet customer demand 为 more electric vehicle (EV) chargers in the region, 西班牙&E plans to install chargers at or near apartments and condominium complexes at about 100 locations over two years. Among the sites selected, 50% will support underserved communities (UDC). An underserved community is a community that meets one or more criteria defined by 加州议会第841号法案, which includes certain disadvantaged  and federally recognized tribal communities.

项目要求

  • You must own or lease the property where chargers are installed and can attest to using the site 为 5 years 
  • You must own and maintain the EV chargers 
  • Charging infrastructure may be placed within 0.5 miles of the apartment or condo in a space where both sites will benefit from the EV charger installations. (i.e., community centers, shopping centers, libraries, movie theaters, etc.)

Infrastructure Installation Options

The 动力驱动 program offers construction and maintenance incentives, depending on the location of your site:

Understanding Charging Infrastructure

Below are the most common infrastructure terms used throughout the 动力驱动 公寓和共管公寓计划.

All electrical infrastructure required to "make" a commercial site "ready" 为 EV charging not including the actual charger. This can include upgrades to trans为mers, concrete work, and increases to service capacity. 

Utility-Side基础设施

This includes all electrical infrastructure up to the customer’s meter.

This includes all electrical infrastructure on the customer’s property.
